Nursery

I did our baby girls nursery in a Dr. Seuss theme. Since I am on summer break I decided to make the nursery my project! I gathered my materials and set to work!

Here is the closet. The banner was made by my mom and Wendi for the baby shower. The drooping curtain still needs to be fixed... not my job!

Here is the Lorax wall. I put the Lorax and Brown Barb-a-loot up in a truffula tree. Tana's masterpiece will go in the empty space above the crib. The beautiful blanket was made by my mother in law, Cindy.

This is the wall the you see when walking in the door. Here is Horton and Sam I Am. I also love our new glider. This was my splurge item. Well worth it!

Thing 1 and Thing 2 will be flying kites in honor of Bobby. Here is also the hot air balloon.

Here is the balloon again and Fox in Socks.

I have also included close ups of all the characters.

The beautiful banner.

I repainted this dresser. We bought this for $5 at a garage sale! What a steal.

A star bellied sneetch!

The Lorax.

A brown Barb-a-loot!

My favorite... Horton!

Sam-I-Am is holding up the cabinet.

Thing 1 and Thing 2 will be flying kites, once Bobby draws them!

Hot air balloon from The Places You'll Go. The pink and yellow is the same colors from the dresser. This really helped to soften the room.

And Fox in Socks!
