So it has really been forever since I've posted. A lot has happened in the last year!

We are expecting our first child soon! I am due August 4th. We are so excited to start expanding our family with a little girl. I can't put into words how excited we are!

I have been lucky enough to be on summer break and able to get the house ready for our little one. It has been a lot of work changing a craft/office/dog/storage room into a nursery. The toughest part was figuring out where to put everything from that room. Space is a little limited in our apartment, so I have been slowly adding stuff to our 1 car garage. Bobby isn't too happy since this means that I am pushing his tools out! I will post next week once I have the nursery painted!

The wonderful school district I work for has once again left me in the dark as to where I will be teaching next year. I received a District Initiated Transfer at the end of the school year. This means that I have to change schools to an unknown location into an unknown grade. Once again my classroom sits in boxes awaiting their new home for next year. We are just so grateful that I did not receive a pink slip.

The hardest part about not knowing where and what I will be teaching is that school starts August 9. Obviously I will not be starting the school year. So I was unable to get anything set up for a sub. I will be coming into my classroom in October without having any input as to how the class is set up or ran. This will make for an interesting school year. At least I will have a cuddly baby to come home to everyday after school! Oh the joys of life!
